Short hair

Went to cut my hair today. I asked for shoulder length but damn, I lost my ponytail. I kind of look like Sawyer from lost with this new hairstyle. Aagrh.. and when I attempt to tie it, I'm left with a very very tiny ponytail which looks like a stick. And if I don't tie it, I look messy and out of place.. How?? Thanks to the layering, my hair is thin now :(

Meanwhile, I'm not even done with my revision.
