Happy labour day!!
Sunday was nicely spent although I spent almost half the day asleep. Went to tm/century square for dinner with my mum. Just as we were coming back home, we went to see the exhibits of ns40 just outside tm. The exhibition was really good, lots of great stage performances among other stuff. Spent a great deal of time cam whoring. Lots of pics to be updated in the next post.
Went down to Conrad after a bad day of work on mon to stay over for the night. I didn't have much of an apetite as I was already feeling rotten and downtrodden for the day. The suite was very nice. 3 tvs but we only made use of 2 because the other one was jumping. Wanted to call the operator (ha!) to report but decided against it since I was coughing almost every minute and my voice has this scratchy and deep sound. There was a pantry, two toilets ( a small and a big one with a bathtub), and a dining area. We were supposed to go to Oscars for dinner but ended up didn't go becoz the voucher said something about not being valid for the eve of public holidays and public holiday. But we had a great dinner nontheless, we brought dinner back from a foodcourt somewhere nearby (near the fountain of wealth). My grandfather and my aunty came down also and it was a nice feeling just to sit around the table eating.
Everything was nice until night time. I kept waking up every 2 hours when I was supposed to have that nice comfy sleep on the high bed. Reasons being that I was not used to the bed ( I don't like sleeping on any other bed except mine, that's why I don't particularly like hostels tsk tsk), my coughing bouts woke me and the hotel room was quite cold by my standards.
Breakfast was splendid with the tasty fried rice, potato wedges, bacon, croissants, hot dogs, cornflakes and snowflakes. If my appetite was better, I would have eaten that ice cream on the waffle and other food.
Went back to the room to catch some sleep before checking out and chasing the no 10 bus home :)
Due to time constraints and my health, didn't go to the gym and the pool. Haiz.
I didn't realise it until recently that having been a band member once is something to be proud of because of the moments that I have shared with the band and because of its rich history. All the band practices, concerts, camps, competitions and drills were a testing experience but it was worth it..
OUT!
