I didn't like the lab work today. Lab work was messy, unorganized etc etc. Furthermore, I didn't really work very well with my partner initially. The apparatus used here is quite different from the ones that I've used previously. For eg, there was a tap for the burette which made it harder to control the volume eg 1 drop. Halfway through the experiment and I realised that we forgot to wear gloves. But some other teams didn't also.. so I guess it's optional. Then for filling the burette, we were instructed to pour while holding the burette. (We used to put the stand on the stool remember?) There was confusion and frustration (on my part) coz we were left alone to do the expt for 3 hours. There was no demonstration. But it turned out well in the second part coz my partner and I had better understanding and organization. We finished everything (including washing up) in less than 3 hours and we left the lab half an hour early.

Today was cca exhibition day and I signed up for the ice skating club, deli appreciation and odac. I am very interested in the first 2. Ice skating is a costly recreation but after discussing with my mom, I think it is quite worth it. As for deli appreciation, it is about hunting for good places to eat and at discounted rate. Food has always been my number 1 and I think it would be useful to know the famous makan places in Singapore. I shall go and take a look at the booths again tomorrow to see what more I can sign up with.
