Hello there! Exams are overrr! Yay. After 3 loong weeks of being stressed. What we did yesterday after the last paper.. Hmm. We went to China! Haha.. Kidding. We went to the Chinese Cultural Heritage Centre.. It's this very very Chinese building at ntu that's rather out of the place. There's a chinese library inside, offices, and a picture gallery inside depicting about Sun Yat-sen and about the Chinese revolution. It's like a museum! There was also a bit about Singapore and the peranakan culture among other things. I think we were the only ones there. It wasn't exactly deserted as there were offices inside but the building was very well maintained and preserved. You must be wondering why we decided to go to the centre all of the sudden right.. I feel that its quite cool to have a chinese cultural museum in school. It's a different feeling altogether to step inside and appreciate the architecture. It felt like China. Furthermore, outside the building there's this mini fountain and right opposite is the Yunnan Garden. It's a pity that I didn't take any pictures. But I'm glad we went in as we didn't dare to do so other times or we didn't have time.
After that, we went to Jurong point. It's my first time shopping at JP and the shopping mall is wonderful! Can be comparared to TM. (Is it a good thing or bad?) But of course it's way much bigger with swensens, subway, Andersen's, Crepe ice cream and of course, this fashion. Ha. The this fashion there is different from the one at Tampines. It's quite high class and even the design of the clothes are surprisingly good. Gone were the days where you find that if you excluded a certain part eg frills? or that extra something that they tend to have a knack of putting on, then it would be quite good. Even the material is better..
The 4 of us shared ljs and ice cream from crepes. It was a wonderful high tea. I'm so glad that I didn't rush home for the 5.30pm show.
OUT!
