Shopping spree

Time flies when I'm not doing anything. Went to shop and bought a pair of 3/4 pants and a skirt! Can you believe it?! I actually bought a skirt. Trying to connect with the feminine side of me..haha.. Just waiting for a suitable occasion now to wear it.

Have gp for the whole morning tomorrow..haiz..

Busy busy busy... It's a wonder how I could watch American idol (the performance) and the results the day before the exams! Not to mention Women of times too.. Oh Girl! I'm so hooked to that show right now. Anyway, this is a generalisation: all channel 8 drama production are crap without Fann.. Haha.. It's not as if I'm her fan but really, I think the quality of dramas produced are getting worse especially with the influx of newbies (like amateurish acting from the finalists of Project Superstar).

Somehow, producers do not give much regard to quality now and they will try ways and means just to promote the superstars. For eg, remember the show about the blind girl and Pierre Png? The show started out o-kay at first and COULD HAVE ended with an o-kay note but they had to squeeze Chen Wei Lian singing towards the ending!?

Lots of shows to watch during the hols. The hol plans that I have mapped out before the exams does not seem so appealing now. But I realli wanna learn how to ice skate, try motor car racing and SWIM..haha.. Gotta get my tan back.

Today is the last kidsread session. I accidentaly drew on the whiteboard with a permanent marker! So silly right?! Aargh.. I should have checked first!! and I didnt have time to undo my error ( by going over the words with a normal marker!!) I feel so guilty towards the person who would have to clean it.. sorry.. It's all my fault..

I went to Marine Parade library and borrowed more books.. Now I have about 8 unread books to read during the hols!! Goody goody..

And we should take advantage of the Great Singapore Sale to get Eileen a new bag!!! Yippeeee!! Plus a farewell party for Mr Remedios..

Can someone tell me where to print the gp articles that we need for the file? I know it's the gp webpage but I just can't find it.. Thanx!!

It's been eons since I last blogged!!

Interesting week... Started off with..
Mon:
Dragonboating!!! We were up against some formidable teams and got in 3rd in our heats.. We were kinda demoralised. Hopefully, we stand a chance of getting into the finals. Even if we don't, at least we had fun practicing last fri.. rocking the boat at the bank of the river and how I screamed my head off..haha.. Reminded me of the rides at downtown east...
Wed:
No maths society!!:))))) Somehow, the carnival thingy has sucked all my energy and interest in the society...
Thurs:
Slept for almost half an hour during Physics lecture.. I was sitting at the front somemore..haha.. Its gotta be the after 'tea break' syndrome. Oh ya.. and I don't call my breaks as 'tea break', it's quoted from a teacher..haha.. u-know-who..haha... The word 'tea-break' is simply too classy to use in a school...
Went to swim with Bernie thereafter.. No sun but at least we had a work- out in the pool. The weather was threatening. Made a lot of noises too..haha.. But luckily we continued swimming(to wait for the rain and stretch the 50 cents).. But..it didn't rain at all!!! Talk about persevering..
Sat:
Went for kidsread. Only 10 kids came today and Amos was an hour late..P_ _ _ _ _ _s wasn't really happy with some pcf organisation because they didn't open the other room for the k2s.. Oh well.. Found out that we will be visiting the National Library on 9 June with the kids.. The princess of Japan will also be there..haha..

Thought about the s'pore elections and came to this conclusion:
'the ruling party got hammered by the workers' party'.. And at last, the James Gomez saga has come to a closure.(and I thought the ruling party wanted to pursue it!) haha..

Today is election day. This marks the end of the nasty politicking that's wasting the first 6 pages of the Straits Times.(I hope). Here's a summary of what I've done for this week..

Wed
Peer tutored the sec school kids. They came late (not supposed to) but I was happy. Don't feel like tutoring anymore (very irresponsible I know). Anyway, we are going to step down soon.. Just tahan for 3 more weeks.. haha.. No more tutoring from next week onwards coz the kids have exams.

Thurs
We were dismissed at 1.30pm. But had to wait till 4.30pm to take the gp test..

Fri
School sports day. We won!! Although I didn't contribute in any way..Haha.. Had lunch and went home for a nap before going to Kallang for dragonboating. Mistake on my part coz I forgot to bring an extra set of clothes there! No, I should say I brought nothing there except for my wallet. Went to KFC for dinner (part1) and there's free flow of drinks!!! By the time I reached Tampines, I was freezing (from the bus ride). Had my dinner again(part 2).

Sat
Service learning today. Actually, it was more like the service without any learning. We swept, wiped the windows, shifted boxes and painted at Aljunied. Such a terrible waste of time and energy! We were cheated. Supposed to paint and when we went all the way there, the guy made us do those 'manual' stuff! Treated us worse than labourers (very nice euphemism already). At least they get paid... and we definitely didn't deserve the treatment that the real (and paid) painters gave. Can tell that they were jealous. He expected us to do something (when there was nothing left to do) when we were about to go home. MAKING USE OF US!! Humph.. Furthermore, I don't see any point in cleaning coz they haven't even finish their job. It will be dirty again after everything's done.

My nose is running.

Busy week ahead. Loads of tests and chem spa!!!
