YIKES!!

I'm stuck with this nasally voice of mine. Fever's gone but the sore throat+cough+runny & blocked nose remains...

I just found out that there's another sony ericsson service centre much closer to home, that is, East Point! Shall bring my phone over for upgrading.

The weekends are coming to an end and it is back to work on Mon. After hearing what Sabaria told me last night, I'm resolved to not work hard at work. Heck, I'll just work for the money and the friends there.

Took the day off from work coz I was sick. I had a slight fever and terrible sore throat in the morning. Spent the whole day resting. Being sick is a terrible feeling. No appetite, backache, nauseous. It's just so terrible. Its been almost 2 years since I was sick. I think my body must be too heaty.

I'm falling sick. I'm having a sore throat now. Bah!! But I dun wanna fall sick now, around this time. Coz there are loads to do this coming labour day. I wanna go swim at Conrad, watch movies on the tv for the whole day etc etc. I'm losing my voice!!!!

I had the black pepper spidey meal from BK for lunch today. The fries was good as usual but the burger reminded me of the prosperity burger from Mac's during the CNY period. Now I'm kinda regretting coz I dunno if that attributed to my sickness.

It's nice catching up with an old friend :)

Went to have Nasi Byrani at Tekkah with Badariah, her boyfriend and his friend. The byrani was lip smacking good. But I felt a bit awkward. Then I started doing weird stuff like shaking Badariah's hand when I went back. Aargh!! So silly ar.. But it was nice eating at different places, rather than the same few hawker centres that I always frequent. Not that I'm complaining though. After trying red ruby from different places, I came to a conclusion that S11 sells not the best but at least, better than average red ruby.

The singtel bill is coming, so I'm trying to make full use of the 'previleges'. Still have not send my phone for upgrading at Wisma, so if I miss anybody's call, I won't have the IDD record. Unless you leave a voicemail message or something. Feel free to leave any voicemail messages ah..

Work is getting terrible nowadays. I don't really have the motivation to go to work (except for that Wentworth Miller picture in the cubicle. I was 30 mins late for work yesterday. I overslept by almost 1 hour and made a very silly decision to take the cab. Traffic was crawling, the time that I spent in the taxi would be the same if I had just taken the mrt. AArgh!!!! $17+++ gone.

I feel lost at work sometimes. I don't really listen to my supervisor, sometimes I don't even know that I'm doing there (except to earn money la!). If only I can get that $10 per hour job... or even another part time job at TM...

I've been accepted to NTU's school of Chemistry and Biological Chemistry. Yay. I'm happy coz I really wanted to do that course when I read about it from the brochure. Then I'll have the chance to study bio.. haha.. something that I've wanted to do in secondary school.

I had a superb lunch today! The chicken rendang was fantastic la! The best I've tasted so far. Went to Ben&Jerry's for that free ice cream cone. Felt bloated after that.

Yesterday was the first time of the year that I finished watching the whole episode of desperate housewives. Really good.

Work is monotonous as usual but I'm trying....

YES! I bought an mp3 player from ebay already. Went to courts in the morning to take a look at the mp3 players. I must say that the service there is not very good. Went to take a look at the 2 mp3 players that are on offer. But I wasn't convinced to buy. So in the end went to ikea to use the toilet and at the same time to eat the hotdog there. As usual, I was fascinated by the standing cubicle for guys(for peeing) in the girls toilet. (Got you there didn't I- you thought I went to the guy's toilet!). Didn't dare to take a picture of it- Afraid that people may just think that I'm a pervert.

Then went to buy the hotdog bread and the drink. Although they didn't explicitly say that consumers are entitled to one drink, it is understood that we can go and top up our drinks. This is so because nobody is in charge of the counter and the counter is just left there. The hot dog is nice but there's much left to be desired for the bread.

Should I go for that part time Tampines F&B cashier job? I think it would be quite fun learning how to operate the till. Maybe I can even get free food! Then maybe I'll work from 6.30pm to 8.30pm on weekdays and I can work for the whole 8 hours on weekends. But the agent just refuse to tell me which company I would be working for. Aargh..

Yes. Diana. I've read your blog. I've noticed that the vendors put the sugar cane in their refrigerator. So my favourite drink is safe to drink. What a scare. Phew.

Dratty day at work today. BUSY BUSY BUSY. Lots of temp staff are quitting, or so I heard.

Planing a cycling trip for the six of us next sat. Do you want to cycle at ecp or pasir ris park? Is meeting at 12pm at one of the parks fine? Please make time.

There's noise pollution at home. Somebody's drilling something downstairs. I can feel the vibration on the floor. So irritating.

Eating has become a costly affair nowadays. Tried that new wrap at kfc. It wasn't bad but it wasn't fantastic either. I wouldn't crave for it because I felt like vomitting after that. It's the stinging sensation of the barbeque sauce that puts me off. Other than that, it's quite ok.

Random : Part 1

My eating appetite is back. I just can't stop thinking about food la. I have a very soft spot for food. Somehow, I feel that I'm not as healthy as before which is really true. I've not been exercising for many many many months already. Plus, all the junking at work...

Time seems to crawl when I have a long break. I woke up at 7am today to look for food to eat. Went back to sleep- which seemed like a very long time- but when I woke up, it was only 9.30am!!! And I thought it was evening time already!

I accompanied my mother to giant today. Giant reminds me of Carrefour. But of course it's not as big as Carrefour la. I still think that the stuff at Giant are more expensive than NTUC fairprice. One thing that baffles me is that certain supermarkets that I've been to claims to offer 'lower prices everyday'. Come on, that is so untrue. How 'low' are the supermarkets willing to go? $1.99 for five apples today and then $1.50 for the same amount tomorrow followed by $1 and finally FREE? Go and look out for this kind of signs and kick up a fuss if you really have nothing to do.. Haha...

Remember the joakim gomez saga with Singapore Idol? History seems to be repeating itself again. Now it is Sanjaya and American Idol. The difference? Sanjaya is able to stand up for himself and the judges seem to know better. Oh well..

I've realised recently that it is disadvantageous to have a singtel plan. The plan counts by the minute and not by the second! That means, if I talk on the phone for 1 min and 1s, it will be considered as 2 mins!!! Luckily I didn't follow the time counter on the phone or I would have used up the free 100 mins! The counter showed 30 mins plus but when the bill came, it was somehow doubled! With my current plan, I cannot use the internet and the PLAYNOW function as it is too costly. Besides, I'm supposed to have the free IDD thingy but it has disappeared. I am going to the singtel branch at tm on monday to clarify matters.

I have an interview next wednesday for school of econs and social sciences. My mother is excited and my grandfather thinks that it would be good to go to smu as it is the nearest to my home and it is close to the city. But I'm not too sure.. :/ I just hope that everything goes well..

All the temp staff are forced to take leave on mon =( They claim that there's not enough work which is absoloutely not the case for me and my friend. Nowadays, there are mountains of work for us to do la. We were really busy this morning as they forced us to take no pay- half day- leave today and on monday. There are LOADS of supplies and it would be even more on tues when we go back. Haiz. No work means less pay. On a brighter side, I can go swimming during this long break.

Flooble chatterbox is down. But I remembered putting it back again couple of days ago. Guess I've to do it again.

It's a wonder how time flies. Its April already! Caught Mr Bean's holiday in the afternoon. The show is quite good, at least, it's not as bad as what the reviews said it was. It feels nice watching a movie in the cinema with my family again. Tha atmosphere, the sound system, the darkness, the sound of popcorn too..

The feeling of time creeping past me is amazing. Spending almost the whole Saturday reading on my bed and falling asleep is rejunavating. I resolve to keep aside one day for exercising every week. I want to start swimming again, seeing how I've been putting on weight at work. Haha.
