The Leap Year

I've figured that I should make this post on this special day that comes once in 4 years. Ha. Yesterday was fun. Met up for lunch with car,val,xian,eileen and diana at Thai Express. The food was really good. I loved the glass noodles and Carlene's chicken. It tasted a bit like the one I tried from Thailand. After lunch, Diana, Eileen and I ate donuts from donut factory coz the queue was very very short. Haha. Where did the queue go to?

As I had hours to spare before meeting Tabby, I went home to take a nap. When I woke up, I realised to my horror that it was almost 5.45pm when I was supposed to meet her 15 minutes earlier! I met her at LJS instead and apologised profusely. Haha. So we managed to get ourselves to nus law school which was at Bt Timah. By the time we reached the school it was already 7.30pm (when the concert was supposed to start). But we couldn't find our way around the school and nobody knew where the law auditorium was. We walked up and down before finding another 2 lost souls too. We managed to find the building after a while and we went in just before the first dance ended. Clara performed in the first dance but we managed to watched a bit of it only. But luckily she had other items as well too.

And... surprise surprise... during the intermission, I spotted Tay Ping Hui!!!! He was sitted 3 rows behind me! He looks much better in person real life than on Hwang Jin Lu. Ha. The dance production was very good, very well coordinated. When the concert ended, I was disturbing Tabby on how I should get a picture with him while cam whoring. As we were talking, he walked past us and he was like centimetres near us.

We hanged around outside the audi and waited for Clara to come out and the cam whoring continued.

Yesterday was a day that I met quite a number of ex-classmates (excluding my friends at Thai Express). First, while walking towards the mrt station, I saw Priscilla Phua. Then at LJS, I saw Valerie and Lynette (all from the same class in sec 4). At the concert, we saw Pris Lin and company.

It was indeed an eventful day.

Oh, and I spent almost the whole of today napping.

I have a bad cough.. and because of that, I've been having insomnia for the past two nights. Ha. But not as bad as Valerie's though (I think). Haha. If I were to be sick, I would prefer flu to cough because coughing keeps me awake at night. But I would rather not be sick...

Anyway, I been you tubing for the past two days. I didn't follow American Idol very closely for this season but there are a few outstanding ones that caught my eye. Let me share with you my all-week favourites...

Besides those, I've started watching Autumn Tale. I've watched this show in sec 4 during Chinese lesson but the teacher didn't have the time to complete screening the show. It was produced in year 2000. It's a sad sad sad story and I think I almost used up a box of tissue(200 sheets by the way). Interested? BTW, I kinda expected Tottenham to win coz Chelsea isn't that good anymore (w/o jose). Besides, the club beat Arsenal (4-0) and drew with Manchester Utd (I think).

CNY was fun. It was nice to catch up with my cousin, Marie, again after 2 years. We had steamboat on the 2nd day of CNY and it was great. Couldn't help eating and eating:) My family and relatives do not gamble on CNY though. We just eat, talk and watch tv. The third and fourth day was spent on studying hrm.

The week that followed after CNY was busy busy busy. Had assignments to rush for, had HRM to study... I was so tired that I nearly fell asleep wherever I went. haha. This week I'll have to study for 1 quiz and 2 tests despite feeling sick, plus hand in my resume assignment for this communication course that I'm taking. I hate biochem coz I have to memorise lots of mechanisms that I dun even understand and I'm think mastering communication is very troublesome for a pass/fail subject. Haiz. I hope that this week will be over in a blink of an eye and that the 1 week holidays will come sooner.

PS: I'm so happy that Man Utd trounced the gunners and that Chelsea won too.. Oops.

Juz came back from reunion dinner at grandma's house. Feeling super full and bloated now. I can't wait for tomorrow to come and the days after that! Ok, except until next week coz its the week of tests and submission of the troublesome communication assignment. Hahaha. I'm feeling very sleepy now but I still wanna count down to new year!

Feb is here and CNY is coming real soon. I've been busy cleaning my room for the past two weekends and the cluster of dust that accumulated in the hidden corners in my room for the past year are gone! Yay! Well, most of them are gone..

The internet's been going bonkers for the past week so here I am blogging in the school library during one of my 3 hour break. I have another 3 hour break later after tutorial.

Remember the free style combat mentioned in the previous post? I've decided not to continue with it anymore because of the cost and the time constraints. Found out that it costs $10 per session for 1 hour only and it's quite slack also. Although it was quite fun to run on the track in the night; really cooling and not as tiring as when I ran in the hot afternoon sun some 2 years ago. Ok, I feel like a quitter now. I feel compelled to quit Curl because I do not have as much passion now than before... Grrrr... CCAs are a put off now because they end very late at night. Boo.

BTW, Channel U is going to air My Girl soon. I watched it already and it is quite good. Though I like Delightful Girl Chun Hyang better. The leading guy in this new show is very very hot.

This week is a slack slack week. Today is the only day of the week that I need to go to school (unofficial though).
