An eye opener...

I've got the surveyor job and I attended training today at tanjong pagar. The training is quite interesting and it's not as hard as I thought it would be. It is quite fun actually. I think this job can suit the busy bodies very well. Hahaha... I had dinner at Maxwell food centre with Zhi Qi and the food centre is awesome! There's a stall selling the famous curry puffs, bread, thai food, teochew porridge, mr bean and not forgetting chicken rice. It's like all the famous stalls converging and selling there and I was spoilt for choice! I had the urge to try many stuffs but sadly, 1 meal can be eaten for dinner only. Haha... Back to the training... they provided breakfast!!

Most importantly, there were many beautiful buildings, museums and shop-houses.

Hahahaha.... So val... do you still wanna join? It's quite fun..

This week has been a great week for me. Mainly because Man Utd won the Champions League against my former favourite club. Hahaha. David Cook won american idol. I kind of expected it, but I was hoping for Archuleta to win. But it wasn't a major heartbreak for me. Finished my part of the biz plan on Monday so I spent the rest of the week watching 'love story in harvard'. It is a very good show and the female lead is extremely pretty. A must watch! Other than that, I've been busy hunting for temp jobs, pestering my agents in the process.

This week- Entrepuneural week

This week is quite boring during the lectures. However, I managed to make some new friends and we have a great time during group work. One thing's certain- I don't think I have the interest of becoming an entrepuneur. Haha. Here are some of the highlights of the week.

Tuesday- I saw Christopher Lee at can B!!! We were ordering food from the same stall and sadly, I embarassed myself in front of him. Haha.. Wait a minute! I did not topple my fish soup over him because I was star struck. Hahaha.. I managed to talk to him though. A short conversation. He looked slimmer in real life and very stylish with the black sunglasses and huge tote bag. It was obvious he was shy and didn't want attention but the sunglasses did not help- it made him stand out from the crowd. So after deliberating and confirming with my friends whether he is the ming shun, I plucked up my courage to ask him if he was Christopher Lee. Coz I wasn't very sure at that time that it was him. (I realised that he must have felt sad then...). And he was like 'Yes', in a draggy, questioning manner. Then my next question was 'are you filming here at ntu?' and after a while I realised that it was quite a silly question. Haha.. My head was spinning with excitement then..

So after that, he sat with a bunch of crew plus dawn yeoh. She looked different too, more demure. At first I mistook her for Janette Aw. Hahaha...

This pretty much summarises this week. My last entrepuneural session is on friday, tomorrow. But there's still the business plan that my group has to complete after the whole thing.. Aargh... Haiz. Oh, and I had a scare this week because of my laptop. I think I've unknowingly been infected with a virus so if you receive any weird links via msn or anything from me, please do not open the link.

My body has been aching for the past 2 days, namely because of badminton. Eating great food, sleeping and reading are the simple pleasures that I've been indulging in for the past few days. It's sinful! Hahaha...

Things that I want...
1) iPod Touch. When I saw someone using it on the train, I was mesmerised. But to my horror, I found the cheapest was close to $500- way out of budget. Wait till iPhone comes... and maybe the price will drop...

2) I want to eat the glass noodles from Thai Express....

3) I want to have a bowl of SzeChuan hot and spicy soup (the quality kind)

4) I want to get a well paying temp job....

5) I want to go to Swensens at TM.

6) I want to slack all day and feel that it's alright to do so... HAHAHAHA...

7) I want to watch as many Korean dramas as possible if the internet allows me to.
