School blues

I must have left my brain at home! Hahaha... Somehow, I find this semester's modules to be exceptionally difficult and it's hard to concentrate in class... prolly still in holiday mood now... I've decided to drop drug discovery and design as it is quite demanding and it's not exactly my cup of tea...sighs... I dunno wad other unrestricted electives I should strategically take and hopefully I can get my cs100 :X

2 days before 2010

I'm back after a lengthy break :) It's my school holidays now and I'm hooked on korean dramas! (as usual)

I'll start by blogging about my new year resolutions for 2010 :)

1) I will limit myself to eating chicken rice once a week.
2) I will exercise once a week too!
3) I will spend less time on mafia wars on facebook.
4) I'll try to adopt a healthy lifestyle.
5) I'll be more chemistry focussed :)))
6) and I'll try to control my unhealthy cravings...
7) I'll try to be more adventurous and less timid.

But I'll still continue watching dramas :) Hahaha...

back to mafia wars...

The 1 week holidays was spent studying mostly. Haha... Managed to go to JB to eat and also to Bernie's birthday party. And catch two movies- Ingluorious Basterds and Accident. I personally didn't quite like Accident and this reaffirms my belief that asian movies lack substance.

Its great that I've taken both my mid-terms yesterday... so I'm relatively stress free this week xcept that I got to catch up on lots of other stuff. School has been quite boring nowadays and I can't wait to watch Funny people.

Just had lab today. I'm starting to dislike it already :X The feeling of being sooo lost... I don't really enjoy doing lab work.

Made a big decision a few days ago to give York a miss because I couldn't match the core courses and hence I rejected the offer. I was tempted and conflicted during those few days. I was greatly unsettled and the worse thing was that I had to study for two mid-terms and brood about whether I should go or not.

Meanwhile, I have another decision to make regarding project work.

finally! Not that I've been waiting very long for this... but I do feel an extra sense of responsibility and I feel matured today. Just today. Hahaha... Luckily I don't have to go to school later, so that I can spend most of the day at home and savour every moment before it passes.



I had a great party on Sunday. Tabby, Clara, Kian Zhi ant ty were awesome and super helpful. The inexperienced me wouldn't be able to manage without them. Now I realise that it is super difficult to organise a party and I would certainly appreciate going for another party more!!!

I'm so red like a lobster! Went cycling at ECP today in the afternoon. It was really breezy and it wasn't even scorching hot and yet I'm roasted! After a chicken rice lunch at PP, went down to Blk 201 with kh to make her spectacles before rushing off to meet clara for the mani and pedicure. As my feet were super dirty (from playing in the sea), I was a bit embarassed as there may be some sand inside the cuticles. Decided to go for the classic pedicure after some urging from Clara. It was sooo shiok and ticklish (my first). After that, I rushed down to orchard to meet the rest for some shopping. Legs super sore and aching by the end of the day. What an eventful day today coupled with great weather!

I feel uber tired now.

7 more days to....

I need to get an outfit and get my party stuff! I'm all jittery.... I keep thinking about the day everyday! I hope it goes well and everybody will have a ton of fun!

I hate mondays and tuesdays now. Those are the stressful days and the headache days. Lots of lectures- really intense stuff.

Went for the ice cream buffet at ion orchard and I was defeated. I think I ate the least which was so unlike me as I don't have a sweet tooth. Loved the gelato but didn't get to the chocolate fondue. That was how lousy I was. In all, I tried 10 small scoops of ice cream with gelato with lots of breakfast cereal and not even a whole piece of waffle. Swensens is so smart. But didn't like their service though. They were seriously understuffed. As a result, it affected the service and the ultimate experience. I started feeling hungry when I reached home and I think I will stay away from ice cream for the next few months.

I'm currently playing this uber lame game called farm land on facebook. It's not even exciting but I'm addicted to it. Sheesh...Okay, I'm procrastinating.. I'm runing away from my work. Hahaha..
